Ben is a nine year old Parti Maltipoo.   He was surrendered to us when his mom became too ill to care for him.  He is a sweet boy and we would like to find him a home that is similar to the one he has had for the last nine years.   

Ben is a good little watch dog and is NOT apartment/condo appropriate.  

Ben is a complex boy and will need time to decompress.  He settled in nicely around the 3 day mark in his foster home.  He went from being an only dog to living in a pack of 7.  He does well with them but we  feel he would do best as an only dog.  

Ben is a little one that needs time to adjust to new situations, if you aren’t willing to give him that time and take the advice of the foster family that has been taking care of him, he isn’t the right dog for you.
 

No Cats.

If you want a dog to take walks with or accompany you on car rides........Ben is NOT for you!  He would prefer to stay home and keep the arm of your couch warm while you are away.  Ben does not like to wear a harness or take walks so we are looking for a home with a fenced in yard.  He will run out and do his business, sniff around, chase a squirrel  and run back in to lay beside  you on the couch.  Car rides make him nervous, poor little guy shakes the entire time :(

Ben IS  house trained, is NOT crate trained.

He loves his wiffle ball and treats.

Ben is prone to matts and needs to be professionally groomed every 6 weeks.
