Sweet Pennie was rescued with 7 other pups on a hot day in August of 2017.   Unfortunately, her mom was no longer to care for her and the others and made the difficult decision to surrender her pack.  This little 4 lb bundle of love, had plenty of spunk and kept  her packmates in check :)

Pennie is now the love of her mom and dads life and resides on Cape Cod.

Toby came in as an owner surrender.  It was an extremely difficult decision to surrender Toby, but in the end all parties could not be happier for him.  He is living large in MA and loves spending time in his summer home,  in Maine,  fishing with the family :)

It is of no surprise that Ryder was not with PADR long, his good looks and charming personality was too hard to resist!  Ryder came to us when his mom was unable to give him the attention he deserved.  He is thriving in his new home and loving life!

This handsome gentlemen was surrendered to us due to a divorce in the family and his mom moving out of the country.  When we say Gentlemen it is an understatement.  He is charming, knows his manners and has a few tricks up his sleeve.  He was well loved by his family, but as they say "life happens" and he found himself with us.  It was our good fortune to have met him and his good fortune to have a loving foster mom and ultimately the perfect forever home.

Sally and Sophie..............ADOPTED

We would like to thank Janet and Marie for opening their homes and hearts to our sweet seniors.

Special thanks to their loving foster mom Karen   These 15 year young girls were in urgent need of a rescue back in January. Thankfully, Karen applied to foster with PADR when she saw our plea for help. You may remember Karen from our segment on Pet Parade. She did a phenomenal job and was told she should come back every week to do  the segment  As luck would have it, Janet and Marie were watching, fell in love and applied to adopt them. Shortly thereafter, Sophie started having seizures, and we had to postpone the adoption until she was cleared from our vet to go to her forever home. The girls are now settled in and doing very well.

It takes a village! The Taunton Animal Shelter shared our post for help, a volunteer from the shelter tagged Karen, Karen applied to foster, Janet and Marie watched Pet Parade and here we are today with this happy news.
